At the end of the last night of VBS week, we have a parent program where the kids perform the music they have learned all week. This year, we had 6 different groups singing 6 different songs for a total of about 370 kids. My music team was in charge of making sure that each of the 6 groups learned the words and motions to their special song that they would perform for their family and friends.
On Friday night, the kids were all amped up and super excited. We had 370 kids packed into the middle of the auditorium, and probably 200+ adults sitting in the chairs. It was barely controlled chaos.
Seth was in the last group of the night. Steve took these shots of him while I was down in the front doing the motions with the kids in case they forgot. It really was so much fun, but I didn't get a chance to focus on Seth while he was performing. I am so glad Steve got these pictures.
Seth was ALL IN during the performance and obviously, pretty happy about being on stage and singing "How Great Thou Art." Love it.
Seth was lucky to have his cousin Austin (on the left) in his group this year. They are usually separated by grades, but they grouped the kids by families this year.
Love this face...
