When you look out the front door of Steve's Dad's house, you see Mt. Baldy. We can get to a really good hiking area about half the way up the mountain in about 20 minutes. Mt. Baldy has an elevation of 8600 ft and has a ski area that is open in the winter.
Caleb is our hiker. He is totally in his element on a trail. He runs ahead of us and would hike longer than any of the rest of us would ever want to. He is like the Energizer Bunny that just won't stop.
Here he is up ahead of us pointing farther up the trail and wondering why the rest of us won't keep up with him!

There were the most beautiful yellow flowers lining the road up the mountain!

Love it! Beautiful pictures, as always! Can you believe we've never taken the kids hiking? I really need to - it looks so fun!!
