Trip to Austin

A trip to Austin would not be complete without a visit to Chuy's Hula Hut on Lake Austin.

Or a visit to Mozart's Coffee House, also right on Lake Austin.  We sat out on this beautiful wrap around deck with huge, lit Live Oaks above and sipped tasty coffee beverages and shared a piece of divine berry-topped cheesecake. There were lots of intense, philosophical conversations taking place around us, Austin being the college town that it is. We were just happy to sit and enjoy the serenity that is attainable when you have a healthy break from your four and two year old.

Love you!

That's awesome you got away! I think all couples with kids need to plan times like this! Jeremy and I got away to Austin in Jan. just the 2 of us and it was great! Did you guys get to see Jeremy? Wish I could've gone too. Next time!

As usual, these are GREAT pictures! I sound like a broken record but I can't help but be in AWE of the awesome pictures you guys take. I have a nice camera, why don't my pictures turn out this great? "What was that Steve?" "Oh. Cause I have it on Auto."

Great pictures! Love the one of the Coffee House on the lake. Beautiful. And how good does coffee and cheesecake WITHOUT kids sound? Mmm. Awesome.

Julia: Auto is my friend :-)
Jen: Yes! We saw Jeremy. I only saw him briefly, Steve got to have lunch with him. I know you are looking forward to having him back today!
Karah: Happy early 10th Anniversary!
Kristy: Anything can be made exponentially better at times WITH kids and at other times WITHOUT kids :-)
Sarah: We have a funny story about that dome. You can go up about 5 stories and look down, and it is quite the optical illusion because every floor has this circular banister and it all makes one very, very dizzy. We both had quite the freak out leaning out over the rail (which only came up to your waist which increased the freak out factor!)
