Thank you Jen for inspiring me to learn with things like this and this(and that!) Thank you Janessa for coming over and patiently teaching me how to get started last night!
I have been working on my first scarf today, and I have a bit of a crick in my neck. I find myself concentrating really hard and tensing up my muscles. I know that this is supposed to be a stress relieving, soothing habit. I am going to have to work on my form a bit!

Yea Courtney!!! I had the same problem with my neck and back being all tense when I first started...and yes, it does get better as you relax more about the stitches. It will be easy and relaxing for you in no time.
Good job, Courtney! You've gotten far! And it looks great! Like, Erin, I also had the same problem with sore neck and back. Rest assured. It gets better the more you do it! Can't wait to see the finished product!
ooo fun! I've found stuff like that to be a GREAT way to pass time on a long car ride. However, that was back before I had a child that kept me busy in the car. =) Be sure to show us the end result! I love the color of the yarn!
I love the colors as well. :)
It looks great! And...how did you manage to get pictures while your hands were busy knitting? You're good.
@Janessa - I am just smooth like that...
@Sarah - Ummm, the finished product may not be revealed until 2010. Don't hold your breath or anything!
