I'm Taking a Class!

Digital Intermediate Photography!

It is in the evenings, so I have the added bonus of a break from bedtime routines while the multi-talented Mr. Horvath wrangles all three children by himself. It is at our local community college, and it is (6) three hour classes. After I am finished with this, I plan to go on and take the Advanced Photography class.

Our first assignment is to bring in a picture we took with the camera on full manual mode...meaning I had to set the aperture, shutter speed, ISO and white balance myself. This was a first for me! I took this shot inside Corner Bakery, and I post it in honor of the man who is not only willing to handle three boys at bedtime, but is excited for me and the new things I am learning!

(And, he is probably really glad HE won't ever have to try and explain aperture and shutter speed to me again. To watch the confused expression come over my face when he gets to the fractions part and how they are inversely related...now my teacher gets that honor!)

Lovely photo...does Steve know that his face will be on the big screen for everyone to see? :) I still need to take my photo!

That sounds fabulous! I have dreams of doing the same thing. If we could just get settled in one spot long enough for me to sign up!
