Two Turntables and a Microphone

Unless you are my age, + or - 5 years on either side, you might not recognize the above reference to an old Beck song.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? (another one for the 30 somethings...)

But around the Horvath house, things are constantly happening that involve singing, guitars, amps, karaoke machines, writing silly songs and microphones.

Old Faithful Jake- click on the photo above to enlarge it, but only if you are a dog lover. You will better be able to see the softness of Jake's fur right under his chin. Doesn't it just make you want to cuddle with him? I warned you, only for dog lovers....

I love this picture, but it also makes me laugh! We were doing the old "stretch out your arm and take a picture of yourselves" trick. But we had a fixed 50mm lens on the camera, and Steve's arms are only so long...this is as much of both of our faces as we could get!

Tuckered Out

There are times in life when it is best to just close your eyes and take a little nap. You've hit a wall, you can't go on, and it is best for everyone involved to just take a few moments to yourself and refresh.

Seth's Holiday Party at School

A little behind, but here are some pictures from Seth's party the last day of school before Christmas break.

I would like to draw your attention to the unusually large snowman head. I was in charge of bringing powdered sugar donut holes for the craft. Have you ever looked for powdered sugar donut holes? Me either, and they are extremely difficult to find. I looked at 5 stores before I found them, and the only ones they carried were the extra large variety. It made the snowmen look a little like a bobble-head, but the kids didn't complain!
