I have a Sony Cybershot similar to the first pic but it's only 6 megapixels. I used to think it took good pics until I got my SLR. You just have to hold it really still to get a non-blurry photo. It does take video, though. I do still use it when I don't want to haul the other one. I also let the kids use it every once in a while which is fun! Are you getting one for your trip?
hey, i have the canon in the middle. it takes video which is nice. but i am NOT impressed with it. it has horrible red eye. and i don't feel like the pictures are crystal clear. even in the daylight.
I have have Canon Powershot SD200. It's probably 5-6 years old. All the home videos you see on my blog are taken with this camera. And the pictures are fine, no it's not SLR quality but for a point and shoot, I think they are really decent pictures, in my humble opinion.
