The Magic Kingdom

All tuckered out...

Two things: 1.) Yes, Caleb is usually way too big for a stroller at 5 years of age. BUT, if you are trying to fit everything into one day at Magic Kingdom, you have to stay on the move and little legs get tired. Also, the crowds were crazy (summertime at Disneyworld = mayhem!!) so it was so nice for him to jump into the stroller after a ride and we had one less kiddo to worry about. And lastly, we could hook our backpack to the stroller and put all our water bottles in the basket and that was nice for all the adults!

2.) Caleb is wearing headphones in a lot of the pictures. This is not because he can't go a day without his favorite tunes. He has sensitive ears and doesn't like loud noises, so this helps him to be able to go on many rides that would be uncomfortable for him otherwise.

Looks like a terrific day!

I'm sure the construction workers building our neighbour's house think it's hilarious when my little kids go out there with hearing protection, but it makes all the difference between whether they enjoy watching the works or cower inside. I wouldn't have thought to bring them to a theme park, but now that you've pointed it out, they're on the packing list!

Whew. Just looking at your pictures makes me tired. I'm sure it was loads of fun, though! That one of Caleb sleeping in the stroller is hilarious. They are so big, Courts! I can't believe your babies are so tall! I love that your mom could be with you. It's so cute to see pics of her with the kids. You've inspired me to book a trip someday to stay at the Cars place. That looked AMAZING! Jackson would flip out.
Miss you!
